Working to become one of Powell River’s premiere health & Fitness outlets, the DynaMike Fitness Weight Management Program is so much more than just tossing weights around in a gym. It is a complete holistic approach designed to help you feel the best you have ever felt in your own body.
Who's this program for?
First, you need to be committed to getting started or 're-started' if you've been on an activity hiatus for a while. This is NOT a drop in type program for 'part time' exercisers. You'd benefit from my Evening Drop In classes or the community rec center if that is you. But if you want/need to lose 20-40+lbs and are truly ready but maybe just had difficulty keeping your goals in sight, are medically stable, have physician approval to join an activity program on your own (not nursing any injuries or have major surgery planned within 8-24 months), can get up and down off a floor mat with relative ease, then this program is perfect for you. Whether you're new to exercise or have a strange love affair with burpees, the purpose is to help you build a lifetime commitment to active living. What do you want?
Boot Camp 2.0 sessions, an integral part of the Weight Management Program, make fitness fun—and help you achieve impressive results, fast. This isn’t your typical bark-and-bite boot camp — we use positive reinforcement, results oriented mindset training and encouragement to help you achieve your fitness goals. Your professionally trained and certified leaders tailor workouts to your fitness level and your specific needs, so whether you’re a beginner or you’re already a serious athlete, you’ll be challenged and make big improvements in your strength and endurance.
You'll have access to all Boot Camp sessions but may not need to participate in all of them. Your coach will help you determine the commitment level appropriate for you as you go through your journey.
What makes us so special?
We understand there are many options available for you to choose from. What I think is pretty cool though is our Boot Camp sessions are priced competitively with places that offer 1-2x/wk and we offer 5 days a week for you to choose from - and at varied times of the morning! What does this mean for you? Well if you miss the first session of the day, join us for the next. If your evenings are important family times, join us for one of our morning sessions. You have flexible options. Also, in many cases if you want to have an initial fitness test or get nutrition/meal plan consulting it can cost you extra and may even cut into your workout time for that day. With us you get nutrition consultation, fitness assessments and help with safe and realistic goal setting. In addition, rather than registering for a temporary time frame such as 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off or whatever the model is, here we run straight through, you don't have to keep re-registering. Just keep coming until whenever you want to stop. Included with fun and results oriented workouts, and in-house VIP extras, we include great tasting 'real food' recipes, grocery lists and special events and workshops to help provide you with resources and education you need to live a truly great active life!

It’s easy to lose motivation after a few weeks of eating veggies and drinking water [well alright it isn't that bad]. That’s why we hold contests/challenges/

This keeps our boot-campers motivated and ensures success. Moreover, we keep the most accurate records around to make sure that you know exactly how your body is changing.

This program is great and the workouts are fun, but NOTHING will replace great nutrition and eating habits. That’s why we don’t leave you to fend for yourself.
Our fitness records update your required calories and we keep each other accountable by connecting you to your trainer profile in our software app-food journalism application that allows us to see how you’re eating in real time.

together! Occasionally we’ll break away from the boot camp to enjoy an obstacle course run, a Strengthen & Lengthen class, STRONG by Zumba™ HIIT, or even an INSANITY® live class. Whether you’re here for 6 months, 6 years, or a decade. Our goal is to
Boot Camp 2.0 sessions don’t just focus on cardio because we know you want to tone up. We don’t focus on just weights, we know you don’t want to get bulky: we blend the two into a 60% Cardio 40% Strength split. This allows us to help you lose weight AND tone up. Not only that, the workout structure changes every day from circuit training, to CrossFit® style training, to Tabata, to obstacle training, to music driven HIIT.
